Policy Advisory

Bantu-Edge provides policy advisory support to public institutions, development partners, and civil society organisations across Southern Africa. Our work focuses on translating evidence into practical policy options that strengthen inclusion, governance, and long-term development outcomes.

Baseline Studies, Impact & Risk Assessments

Bantu-Edge undertakes baseline studies, social and environmental impact assessments, and risk analyses for development, climate, energy, and social performance initiatives. We design context-sensitive research that integrates qualitative and quantitative methods to identify risks, understand community and institutional impacts, and support programme design, implementation, and evidence-based decision-making.

Bantu-Edge produces high-quality research outputs, reports, and learning resources for policy, academic, and practitioner audiences. We specialise in synthesising complex information into accessible, decision-ready knowledge products.

Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)

Bantu-Edge supports the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation, and learning systems aligned with donor and institutional frameworks. Our approach emphasises practical indicators, learning-oriented analysis, and the use of data to strengthen accountability and programme effectiveness.

Stakeholder & Community Engagement

Bantu-Edge facilitates inclusive stakeholder and community engagement processes for development and climate-related initiatives. We support participatory research, consultations, and dialogue that centre local knowledge while meeting institutional and donor requirements.

Training, Course & Capacity Development

Bantu-Edge designs and delivers training programmes, short courses, and learning materials for policymakers, government officials, programme practitioners, and development partners. Our work includes course and module design, training facilitation, instructional development, and editorial support that translate complex policy and research concepts into practical learning experiences that build long-term institutional capability.
